I was born with a degenerative neuropathy that attacks my peripheral motor neurons (Charcot Marie Tooth, Type 2A). I wear leg braces in order to walk, and someday will probably need a wheelchair as degeneration continues. As a result, I'm interested in designing, building, and controlling exoskeletons to restore mobility for people with conditions like mine. In service of that goal, I'm also interested in differentiable physics engines, human body modelling, and robotics.
